Choosing the Best Fence for Your Property

Do you want a new fence for your property but aren't sure where to begin? At Best Fence Company of Jacksonville, we can make it easy for you by bringing product samples to your home for you to evaluate first hand, before making any major decisions, along with providing a free estimate. We'll coordinate your fence installation with your builder, pool company and other contractors for your convenience. Your decorative pool fence is guaranteed to pass inspection and meet all code requirements.

The first step is always to determine WHY you want a fence. Is it just to improve your yard's appearance or are you looking for added security or privacy? Continue reading below for some tips and other things to consider when weighing your options.

Helpful Tips:

·         Before deciding on any fence, you will need to be aware of your HOA policies. Your neighborhood may not allow fences or at least certain types of fencing. Some HOA policies will specify exactly which materials, heights and other restrictions you will be expected to abide by.

·         Be considerate of your neighbors. They will usually appreciate a fence that blends in with their existing fence or does not restrict any pleasant views.

·         Do you have any small children or pets? If so, you may want to choose a fence design with a secure enough railing system to make it more difficult for anyone to get out or in and one that also includes a locking gate.

·         Know your budget. What are you realistically looking to accomplish for your money?

·         Consider environmental challenges. Do you live near the water or in a hot and humid climate? If so, you will want to choose a material other than wood, like vinyl or aluminum, which will not require regular maintenance.

·         DIY is NOT always best. Save yourself the headache and potential regrets by hiring a professional team for the installation.

·         Pool fences must meet certain national B.O.C.A. building code requirements. You can read more about that here.

·         Ask for a referral. If you love your friend's fence, why not ask them who built and installed it? Or have you driven through beautiful modern neighborhoods like Nocatee, Durbin Crossing, or Del Webb and admired any of their fence styles? Those neighborhoods and many others in the Northeast Florida area have all utilized Best Fence Company of Jacksonville.

This advice will certainly get you started on the right path towards completely your fencing project. The easiest step though is contacting Best Fence Company directly at 904-268-1638 for your free estimate and receiving all of the pertinent info and advice that is custom to you and your specific property. Best Fence Company of Jacksonville is proud to serve you and your pets!

For over 15 years, Best Fence Company has been the industry leader in fabrication and installation of top quality Aluminum & Vinyl fencing. As one of the largest fence companies in Northeast Florida, we strive to provide our clients and their families with the highest quality products while also providing unmatched customer service. For a good majority of homeowners in Northeast Florida, that family includes their loyal pet companions.

At Best Fence, we share your concern for your pups, so much so that we are proud to offer a selection of Ornamental Aluminum Puppy Picket fences that have been designed with them in mind. If you own a pet and would like to take a proactive approach to their safety with the added benefit of increasing the beauty and value of your home, consider one of our Ornamental Aluminum Puppy Picket fences.

With summer just around the corner, the warm weather will be inviting many of us and our pets outdoors for some exercise and vitamin D. In the summer months, there is much more down time for homeowners because their children are out of school. Why not enjoy the outdoors with your family and pets in the comfort of your own backyard?  Our 4-Rail Puppy Picket Fences are designed to keep your puppy inside your yard with their four horizontal rails and additional vertical rails near the bottom. Grab a Frisbee, tennis ball, or your pooch’s favorite toy and go have some fun with the peace of mind knowing you won’t lose track of your furry friend.

Keeping your pet within the perimeter of your home is one task, but fences have two sides. Keeping unwanted animals out is just as important as keeping your precious ones in. Our 4-Rail Puppy Picket Fences’ additional vertical railing help prevent your pet from getting through the bars, while keeping other animals out. Invasive critters can wreck your yard, garden, home and sometimes even your pets. A Puppy Picket Fence from Best Fence Company of Jacksonville can be a barrier for your canine and unwanted intruders. A fenced in backyard will allow your dog the freedom to roam their territory. As we all know, your dog staying inside and other critters staying out may vary. You've probably known a dog or two in your neighborhood or even a deer that can jump a fence!

Our Ornamental Aluminum fences are maintenance free and are constructed to withstand Florida’s hot humid, salt abundant climate and our Puppy Picket fences are no different. Our polyester powder coating is baked on twice for extra durability. Your Puppy Picket Fence will stand up to even the most adventurous of pups and will continue to look beautiful for years to come.

At Best Fence Company of Jacksonville, we understand how important your pet is to you and your family and that’s why we’ve designed our selection of 4-Rail Puppy Picket Aluminum fences.
